One of my all time favorite places to visit is a used book shop. We passed Book Garden in Cream Ridge, NJ, a handful of times before we finally stoped in. Now we try to visit every time we are in the area.
Selling since 1977, in the same building since 1989 and boasting over 100,000 used books, this is a must visit for those that love used books. For book shop tourists this is also a gem!! Hand written signs, custom shelves, ridiculous organization and maze like long stacks to get lost in, Book Garden hits all the marks of a great vintage book seller. And it used to be a florist also? Amazing.
I think we will always check in on book garden when we are in the area. There’s always something new to see.
