Video | 4 Easy and Affordable Zero Waste Swaps to Start Today | Zero Waste BookTuber | YouTube Newbie

October 26, 2020 Ana Mo Shoshin

Hello,
Thanks for joining me today! I have been going zero waste and plastic free for almost 4 years. Here are the first 4 easy and affordable swaps that came to mind. What is your favorite low cost zero waste swap?

-Buy in glass and reuse your glass jars in many ways! (Price of the item, free to reuse)
-Obtain a thermal reusable cup for hot and cold beverages on the go. (Free if found, a few dollars if bought second hand)
-Scrubbers made from walnut shells are a sustainable inexpensive sponge alternative. ($4 for a pack of three, see link below)
-Reusable cloth masks help keep disposable PPE out of waterways and reduce litter. (Free if you already have the materials, $5-$20 bought from local artisan)

I get the scrubbers here: Mighty Nest https://mightynest.com
